Richard Siggins will be leading a fun little workshop on macro photography at the regular club meeting June 21. This is a free event open to club members and friends. We did this in 2015 and it was one of our most popular events.
Here’s some info:
- Richard will do a short presentation on macro photography then we will move around the room photographing at different stations.
- We will provide macro subjects to photograph, such as marbles, slinkies, flowers, etc.
- You need to bring your camera and a lens that can focus up close. This can be a macro lens or a zoom lens with a macro mode. A tripod is highly recommended. If you hurry, you can rent one of the club’s tripods.
- If you have them, bring your flash, shutter release cable, LED flashlights and any trinkets that might be fun to shoot.
Here are slides from a previous presentation on Macro Photography. Feel free to review and come with your questions.
We will be meeting in room 219 of the Employee Center at 6:30, June 21.
